While I'm not known to watch a lot of live TV, I'm a big fan of the current generation of gaming, primarily XBOX 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. So far, even after seeing some 3D game demos, I remain somewhat skeptical that I will truly enjoy 3D gaming on a home console or PC. So, are you playing any games in 3D? What must-have experiences could you recommend that will convince me I should upgrade?

Crysis 2 multiplayer beta which is currently availible, for a limited time, free on Xbox Live Gold has been released with the 3d option. And my first impressions are WOW, Crytek really outdid themselves. The 3d redering really shows how bad Black Ops 3d version is, with its downgraded 3d graphics, slowed framerate, and no 3d strength adjustment. All of which Crysis has non of these issues that i can see. Also Killzone 3 Beta is being released in 3d and with move support on Feb 2. And by Jimmy Fallon's reaction to the shooter in 3d, I'm going to want it. Take a look...

Would it be possible to get a list of all 3D games built for the PS3 and other platforms where it is in a tabular form? For instance: Game Website Release Date Stereoscopic / True 1080p Side by Side Top-Bottom Checkerboard Other information on the games would also be valuable, I am just getting started, so I am not sure what. Also, my guess is that games made in 2007 are not using the latest 3D TV w/active glasses technology, so that should be identified in the table as well. Thanks ahead of time for anyone who might put this together. I can help, if that would help...

The world has been ravaged by a series of climatic disasters and society is on the verge of total breakdown. Now the aliens have returned, with a full invasion force bent on nothing less than the total annihilation of mankind, starting by trying to rip the heart out of Earth's most iconic city. In New York, terrifying alien invaders stalk the streets and a nightmare plague strikes down the city's myriad inhabitants with brutal epidemic speed. The city's systems are in chaos, its streets and skyline are smashed and in flaming ruin. This is New York City like you've never seen it before. Neither paramilitary law enforcement nor the might of the US military machine can stand against the invaders, and all who choose not to flee are dead men walking. Just to survive in this maelstrom of death will require technology beyond anything any modern soldier has ever seen. One man will inherit that means to survive. One supersoldier, wielding the combat enhancement technology of the future with Nanosuit 2, will make the last stand to save humanity from destruction in the urban jungle that is New York City. Best of all, it's going to be in 3D on...

At long last, the classic gameplay of Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3 is getting a worthy successor. Neatherrealm Studios' Mortal Kombat reboot will be hitting sometime in 2011, offering up confirmed stereocopic 3D images on the PS3. The game itself is still played on a 2D plane like previous entries in the series, but the stereoscopic 3D enhancements should make the special combos and fatalities better (and more gory) than ever. All I can say is, "Get over here!"
Motorstorm Pacific Rift Demo - 3D Game Discussion

In the original MotorStorm, you tore through the brutal and unpredictable off-road environment that was Monument Valley. Now the Stormers are back for more sick action and to prove their racing supremacy in the next Festival, taking over a remote tropical paradise in the Pacific Ocean. Not only will you be up against other Stormers this time around, but also the island itself, as you careen through four different elemental zones. You’ll encounter thick mud, tangled undergrowth, waterfalls, choking volcanic ash, lava pools and more, so suit up and strap in. It’s going to be a wild ride. Currently, the Motorstorm Pacific Rift Demo is available in Digital 3D through the Playstation Network. Discuss this game demo below.
