"Sharks 3D" will be a 24-hour marathon, starting Sunday at 9:00 p.m. Jean-Michel Cousteau, the explorer, film producer, and son of the infamous Jacques Cousteau, will host the event. So pretty soon you could be catching all of your "CSIs" and "NCIS" programs in glorious 3D. While it's all just talk at this point, it appears that you'd have to pay to have that sort of 24/7 privilege. Also, the programs wouldn't actually be filmed in 3D; CBS would just convert everything from 2D to 3D, which is something that your 3D TV may be able to do anyway. Do you think that you would pay for this type of service? It's nice that at least one major network is considering a jump into the 3D movement.
