I have a Toshiba BDX-3200 3D Blu-Ray player and a 40" Toshiba 40TL8383, Full-HD, 3D, 200Hz LED Smart TV,

Now when I select the image to be viewed in a 2D or 3D from the television when viewing a DVD video, it allows me to switch, even if the dvd is not a 3D DVD and even if it is not a Blu-Ray DVD!!, but I can't see the correct image with my active glasses, still seeing the image double, like with the naked eye,

Is this normal?, I don't have any 3D dvd movie, to try it out,

In brief my question is, Can I view in 3D, if I have a 3D television, a 3D DVD Player, but the dvd movie is not 3D?,

Thanks.

Anglu said: Hi Matt, Thanks for the reply and thanks for helping me out!! :), So on brief, if disc is not 3D it will allow me to have a good view of the picture even when 3D Mode is selected ON from the TV, but effects will not be good compared with a 3D disc, correct?
Correct. You can convert anything to 3D, just don't expect miracles.

I recently purchased a Samsung 3D ready TV. I subscribe to Uverse. They offer 3D movies to rent, but some of them will not play right, but some will. Is there some kind of a format conflict possible? It is really hard to get info on 3D Tv's. I am really confused about this.

Same issue here, I even upped to the top Internet plan same issue.. I hope they fix it soon! Samsung said it's an app issue not our Internet !
