I noticed that my Samsung 3D glasses seem to turn off and then back on every now and then while I was watching TV.  It took me awhile to figure out what was happening, but it seems to happen when someone walks in front of the TV or there is something blocking my glasses from the connection with the TV, even if it's for only a second.

Is anyone else seeing this sort of behavior?  I'm wondering if there is a way to make it so that it takes a few seconds before it turns off if that is indeed what is happening.

Ron, are you sure you are not just losing sync. that can happen sometimes while watching, and if the line of sight is broken. of course you know to turn the glasses on you push the button once, and to turn them off you hold the button down until the light blinks three times. if i lose sync, i can either wait for the glasses to re-sync, or turn the glasses off and then back on.

My Panasonic 3D glasses stop and start all the time, it is obvious because everything gets brighter and you see the picture with the two images. After talking to Panasonic, they are going to send me a shipping label to return the glasses, not sure what they plan to do. It turns out all 7 pairs drop out around 10 or 11 feet from the screen, but will flicker in an out beyond that.

After talking to them and arranging the return, I reread the manual. It turns out that on page 23 they have a Viewing Range specification: 3.2M (10' 6") from front surface, +/- 35 degrees from horizontal, +/- 30 degrees vertical. Since my recliner sits 15 feet away, it is no wonder my glasses go in and out. Do they really expect that everyone purchasing a 65" screen will sit 10' 6" or closer to the screen?

That specification should be on their web site and plainly displayed in the store. It is a killer. I have no intent of rearranging my living room to meet this spec, so I will likely be battling Panasonic over it. I will let you know how it turns out.

Dan, I am curious if you ever solved this problem. My Sony 3D glasses are doing the same thing, flickering on and off. We have a 60" and I sit on the couch probably about 15" away as well. I guess I need to find better glasses.

Good day. Our active shutter 3d glasses can compatible withSony\Samsung\Sharp\LG\Matsushita\Changhong\Mitsubishi\Konka\Skyworth\TCL.
It would be helpful for your company to relieve the pressure in the inventory.
Please be advise that my company pay great effort to R&D, and install the eminent chipset and best lens.
