I am wondering what I need to do in order for me to display two signals out of my HD, #D TV cable box? I actually have a 3D tuner box, and I have the 3D TV as well as a 3D blue-ray........ Blue-ray is not important, but how might I record this on a regular DVR? It displays out of the box in HDMI, but the DVR does not have a HDMI in! It does not seem to want to display two signals, one in HDMI and the other in CATV! Does this not work?

I'm not quite sure I'm following you, so let's clarify a few things.

1. What source are you trying to record on your DVR?
2. You say you have a "3D TV tuner box", but are you referring to the Mitsubishi 3D adapter for a Mits DLP TV? If not, what is this device you're speaking of?
3. Are you saying you have a separate DVR and separate cable box?

So far I have not been able to record a 3D program, that is what I would like to accomplish!  The 3D only comes out in HDMI, I think I bought a HDMI Cablebox to record, but I need it to go out to the TV in HDMI as well, that is the way 3D works....... I have an LG 47LX9500 Television, and a Comcast HD Cable Box, yes seperate Cable Box to DVR!  I dont know the rest?

Without knowing what you purchased as a DVR, it will be hard to give you any idea what may or may not be working. That said, I know of no standalone DVR with HDMI input capablility to capture. In fact, HDMI is wrapped in protection technologies to prevent capture and recording, which means I don't believe your approach will work.

My advice to you is to forego the separate DVR/Cable box approach, and swap out your Comcast HD Cable Box for their HD-DVR.

Alternatively, you could get a TiVo Premiere and Cable Card. You wouldn't capture your Cable Box output in that case. The TiVo, equipped with a Cable Card from your cable provider, can record and playback any (non on-demand) 3D content you subscribe to.
