Playing 3D movies from NAS or USB?

Hello,

I have a Samsung 3D LED TV (UE40C8705) and a Samsung 3D Blu-Ray player (BD-C5900).

My questions are:

1. As I have done for all my regular DVD's, I would like to put my 3D movies (only have 2 until now ) down on my Synology NAS, and stream them directly to my TV. BUT - is it at all possible to play 3D (Real3D) movies in any other way than through the actual 3D blu-ray player?

2. If it is not possible to play 3D movies "around" the 3D Blu-Ray player - is it then possible to have the 3D movies on a harddrive, that you connect through the USB on the blu-ray player?

Thanks - all for now - would be great to know, if it it possible to play backups/rips of my 3D movies "around" the blu-ray player!

if you have movie with side by side (SBS) or up and down (UO), this works with USB via blu ray player. I have tried it with some mkv-files and this works very good.
