Enslaved is a post-apocalyptic retelling of the classic 400-year old novel ‘Journey to the West’. Set 150 years from now, the world has been ruined by war and ecological disaster with only a handful of survivors remaining.

Namco has announced that 3D support is to be included in a DLC pack for Enslaved, which will be coming to the XBOX 360 and PS3 late 2010. The DLC pack will cost $10. (more on the DLC pack here.)

This is by far the worst 3d I've seen so far! Don't get it! it's 3d somewhat, but only in the wonkiest, most broken way. everything farther then about 20 "game feet" away from the character is totally flat, like it's being projected onto a wall, and it's reaaaally disorienting! It seems like the developer, or the Quality Control would have never let this get by because it makes it almost unplayable. Part of it is that the textures and antialiasing seem to go way down in quality too so the graphics are bad all around. I was really dissapointed because I was really looking forward to seeing some of this beautiful game in 3d, but looks like that won't be happening anytime soon. What a waste of money. DON"T BUY THIS ADD ON!!!

Hmm i thought the 3d was decent. Ya I've seen better but in no scenes was the 3d disorienting to me at least. One good thing is that the 3d strength is adjustable. So you can adjust the 3d to a comfortable level. Not like in Black Ops where the 3d strength is set. On Enslaved I have the strength set at about 3/4 strength and the story and setting are great. You are set in this apocalyptic future setting of what looks like downtown New York . And the dlc you also pick up "Pigy's Perfect". I havent played that yet but i heard it is good also. I give the 3d a 7/10. Not great but still very enjoyable. Story and setting 9/10.
