I have to admit to a little sticker shock at the cost of 3D Movies.  This listing at Amazon shows that the retail for these movies is going to be about $27.99.  I guess that's what I get for buying one of these TVs early.  How long will it be before we see a reduction to $19.99?  That's still expensive but seems more reasonable.

Some of the IMAX titles are on Amazon for under $19.99. As far as the rest, I am guessing once more titles are released... for now though, even eBay is expensive!

$27.99 to $34.99 is the MSRP of most Blu-Ray discs these days, which usually means a retail of $20 to $25. Perhaps the MSRP of these 3D discs is higher.

Still, if you think $28 is bad, don't look at Step Up 3D, which is a $50 box set. Yipes!
