You must purchase DLP-Link Glasses like the Optoma's or XpenD's

They work best.

And you don't need an 3D emitter either.

Really? Work best for what? If they only replace the emitter I'd prefer (and have) get the 3D kit.

Read thread topic.  2009 Mit's 3D DLP's and earlier use DLP-Link flash to sync 3D glasses.

You do not need an emitter.  And If you use IR based 3D glasses that come with the 3D kit, your gonna get a greenish/teal picture.
