Me, nope.
I have not watched any of the SAW movies and probably never will. Just my personal preference when it comes to movies.
For Saw lovers I can see how this could be kinda fun. It would be interesting to see the number of ticket sales to a 2D version compared to a 3D version and see who goes to what.
So, I spotted today that apparently, Saw 7 is being released in 3D.
For fans or those who are familiar with the series, this is either a terribly good thing or a terribly bad thing.
Without going into gory details of what the Saw franchise is about, I'm curious as to who out there is planning on seeing this. I think I might go just to see what they come up with. Seeing those diabolical traps in glorious 3D could be pretty awesome... but it also has the potential to be lame.
Thoughts?

I'm unsure. I think it's a last grasp at a dying franchise. I mean, what 7th installment ISN'T?? The last one didn't do very well. I am hoping they do something (besides the 3D) to make it interesting. Bringing back Cary Elwes is a start...
I agree with Rachel that the Saw franchise is dying and has been dying for a while, in my opinion. I have seen some of the more recent Saw movies (I think the last one I "saw" was 4 or 5) and I was very disappointed with their lameness.
In fact, the only reason I would really be interested in 7 is because it is in 3D and I'm curious what they'll do with it! If it's as bad as the other later Saw movies, it will be a waste. Original Saw FTW.
I will see Saw 7 when it comes out on Netflix. The series has gone way downhill after the first movie, but for some reason I continue to follow it. I wouldn't spend $10 to see in theaters. I actually watched Saw 6 last night and was pretty disappointed.

I'm going, I liked the last SAW movie, and this one's gonna be the best one. And of course In 3D!!!
3D FOREVER!!!
..well honestly speaking I think "Saw" 1, 2 & 3 (or just 1 & 2) were great, but the rest?? I don't think so.. I mean this one is just from my point of view.. Come on??! isn't it overrated or over sequel in some ways?? When will it end by the way.. It's the same game, different people but same killing anyways, so what's the point?? Revenge?? again?? so sick ahahaha
The last one the 3d made it more intense and cringe even, was great. Agree, they need to do something different though.
