Jane's Addiction to Do a 3D Movie

Nothing's shocking, indeed. NME.com says that Jane's Addiction will do a 3D documentary.

On Monday, the Perry Farrell-fueled alt band will be performing at New York City's Terminal 5. That show will be streamed live via YouTube. The band also wants audience members to film content for the doc, via LG's Thrill 4G devices. Are they supplying the equipment?

Once the concert is complete, that footage will be pooled together for the documentary. The plan is to air the 60-minute doc on the LG Thrill 3D YouTube channel on August 4, 2011. If you have the means, check out the little 3D clip below.

Jane's Addiction will release a new album, "The Great Escape Artist," on September 26, 2011.
