I love 3D and would not mind paying a nominal fee for a channel dedicated to 3D assuming that the programming is something that interests me.
Is CBS Planning a 3D Network?
According to Engadget HD, CBS could be plotting its own 3D network. So pretty soon you could be catching all of your "CSIs" and "NCIS" programs in glorious 3D.
While it's all just talk at this point, it appears that you'd have to pay to have that sort of 24/7 privilege. Also, the programs wouldn't actually be filmed in 3D; CBS would just convert everything from 2D to 3D, which is something that your 3D TV may be able to do anyway.
Do you think that you would pay for this type of service? It's nice that at least one major network is considering a jump into the 3D movement. However, I would definitely need to try before I commited to buy.
