Pixar is putting the pedal to the metal on "Cars 2" marketing, unleashing a third trailer for the summer movie. It's easy to say that this is the film's best trailer to date.

I'm not completely sold on the plot, but this is "Cars," a movie about talking cars. It's also Pixar movie, which means it will be gorgeous, filled with famous voices, and well worth your time.

Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy are back to lead the movie, with Bonnie Hunt, Cheech Marin, Jenifer Lewis, Tony Shalhoub, John Ratzenberger and others returning. Not sure how much of the movie will feature those minor characters because there are plenty of new ones that will be voiced by Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, Eddie Izzard, Joe Mantegna, John Turturro, Bruce Campbell, and many more.

The race (and the full-on marketing blitz) begins on June 24, 2011.
