Samsung working on Autostereoscopic 3D TVs

For many within the consumer electronics industry glasses-free 3D TV is the elusive Holy Grail that would transform their product lines from good to great.
Despite numerous statements from Samsung saying that autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D TV) 3D TV is approximately a decade away, a story by TGDaily.com says the company has made a 55-inch glasses-free 3D TV.
Reporting via TrustedReviews.com, TGDaily.com reports the working prototype is currently setup to display "specifically tailored" content and it lacks connecting cable inputs.
Currently the only manufacturer to offer glasses-free 3D TVs is Toshiba, which is selling smaller autostereoscopic 3D TVs in its native Japan. Toshiba however has experienced slow sales of the products primarily due to the cost of the products.
