Sly and his band of theivous cohorts are back - and this time they're in 3D! The Sly Cooper Collection, comprised of Sly Cooper, Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and some new mini-games, is hitting PS3 on November 9th. 

Unfortunately, if you already have or played through the original Sly trilogy, there's probably little reason to fork over $40 just to play them in HD and/or 3D. Perhaps if you're dying for something different to play, but Call of Duty: Black Ops is launching the same day.

The collection contains very little in terms of new content; four mini games focused on one of the four main characters, designed to take advantage of Sony's new Move controller (you can play it with a standard pad, too). Sanzaru says the new mini games are great fun, but it's not like they'd tell you otherwise. 

Anyone who's never played the Sly games should seriously consider it. $40 for three great games, in HD and 3D no less, is a real bargain.
