Yamaha Puts 3D Support into 9 Receivers
Yamaha is well known for having a lot of receivers. Now they are looking to be known as having a lot of 3D-compatible receivers. Today, the company announced that its entire lineup of current receivers would add the HDMI 1.4a spec, making them completely compatible with the latest 3D formats.
The receivers effected would include five models from the new Aventage series: the RX-A700 ($649.95), the RX-A800 ($799.95), the RX-A1000 ($1,099.95), the RX-A2000 ($1499.95) and the RX-A3000 ($1899.95). Rounding out the lineup is the RX-V series, which includes the RX-V367 ($279.95), the RX-V467, ($379.95), the RX-V567 ($479.95), the RX-V667 ($579.95).

Other features across all models include Yamaha's own Cinema DSP 3D audio processing. Features specific to the Aventage series include 7.2 channels with full HD Audio decoding, four SCENE buttons, iPod support (via an optional dock), Bluetooth support, ARC, and analog-to-HDMI 1080p video upscaling.
