Panasonic Debuts SC-BTT750 and SC-BTT350 3D Theater Systems

Having a 3D TV and 3D glasses does not complete the at-home 3D experience. Panasonic has announced two new 3D Blu-ray home systems, which should fill your room with everything that this new technology has to offer.

Also known as SC-BTT750 and SC-BTT350, each of these systems can play back 3D Blu-ray discs, as well as deliver 5.1-channel sound and virtual 7.1-channel surround. Other entertainment is provided through Panasonic's own VIERA CAST service. Partners for that on-screen, on-demand service includes Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, YouTube, and others.

Both setups can be completely networked via an Ethernet connection. If you want to go wireless with the SC-BTT350, you'll need to purchase the optional DY-WL10 adapter for $90. The SC-BTT750 doesn't have wireless built-in, but does come with its own adapter as part of the package.

Another difference between the two products is appearance. The BTT750 (below) features tall boy speakers, while the BTT350 (above) has compact satellites. Add in the optional SH-FX71 wireless kit, and you can make the rear speakers on either setup completely wireless. That makes for some seriously easy placement.

Speaking of easy, the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature makes setup a snap. Other highlights on both products include the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus, an integrated Universal Dock for iPod/iPhone and an SD memory card slot.

Although no pricing is listed on Panasonic's website, the BTT750 is expected to sell for $750, with the BTT350 coming in at $500. Both should be available sometime this month.
