There are a lot of sales promotions on the Internet that are too good to be true.

One that lives up to its promise however, is from the Web's top e-retailer, Amazon.com, and in the case of its new sales campaign, Amazon is providing everything a family will need to get a full 3D video experience.

For its latest sales promotion the company is working with LG and it's offering consumers that buy an LG LX6500 series product four pairs of 3D glasses and a BX580 3D network Blu-ray player.

The LX6500 televisions are available in two screen sizes: 47 inches and 55 inches and the TVs incorporate LED backlighting, 240Hz motion processing, 3D video playback and the company's NetCast Web streaming service, which includes Netflix and Pandora.

Amazon says the savings for the 47-inch 3D television package amounts to more than $1,500 with the total purchase price being $2,296.22.  Amazon's savings claim for the larger 55-inch bundle is said to be just over $2,100 with the total discounted cost through the promotion at $2,615.99.

The promotion runs until Sept. 11 and Amazon says that most purchases also qualify for its "Enhanced Delivery," which includes delivery into the home; unpacking and the testing of the equipment to ensure it works. In addition, consumers can also also schedule their deliveries for any day of the week with a delivery time frame within two to four hours of the specified time.
