Gran Turismo 5 Includes Track Creator, Go-Kart Racing, and 3D Travel Mode

In the last 5+ years Gran Turismo 5 has been in development, the team at Polyphony digital has been working on countless features for long anticipated sequal to the Playstation 2's racing masterpiece, Gran Turismo 4. We already knew you'll be able to race thousands of detailed cars in 3D, but we've just learned about three other nifty features that will be making it to the final game this November (or so they say).
First, Gran Turismo 5 will include a feature called "Course Maker" that allows you to customize a number of optionns per course. It's not a fully featured course editor that let's you build and design tracks from the ground up, but it should provide plenty of variety to your gameplay.
On the 3D side, the Travel mode now lets you snap 3D images and view them in 3D if you have a 3DTV. It's certainly not groundbreaking, but could be fun to play around with if you have the proper setup.
Finally, Gran Turismo 5 includes a go-kart racing mode! No, you won't fire koopa shells or toss banana peels, but if you'd rather hone your racing skills on engines rated in cc over hp, here's your ticket.
Oddly enough, Gran Turismo creators have admitted to designing the kart feature for Gran Turismo 6, but have included it now after it was leaked. Probably a good thing... by the time the sixth installment in the series is released in 2054, no one still playing video games would even know what a go-kart is anyway.
