Seth Rogen Lends Voice to Boo U

Seth Rogen has had a lot of success as a comedy star. Thanks to "The Green Hornet," he will soon add action to his resume. However, he's probably had the most box-office success in the field of animation.

According to Digital Spy, the actor has just signed on to voice the title character in "Boo U." It's Rogen's third animated project for DreamWorks -- and yet another 3D film for the studio. Rogen previously voiced characters in "Kung Fu Panda," "Monsters vs. Aliens" and "Shrek the Third."

Rogen will reprise his role for "Kung Fu Panda 2," which is also expected to be in 3D. He's also done plenty of non-DreamWorks voice work, most notably in "Horton Hears a Who!" and "The Spiderwick Chronicles." He will also voice the title character in the upcoming Simon Pegg/Nick Frost comedy, "Paul."

"Boo U" will have Rogen's character heading back to school, to learn how to be a better ghost. It sounds like a spooktacular time for the kids! There's no word on when the film will get released. However, Tony Leondis ("Igor") has signed on to direct.
