Killzone is one of Sony's major exclusive franchises, and with Sony's huge digital 3D push on PS3, it's no surprise rumors are heating up the third Killzone installment will be joining the 3D party.

According to an article in GamePro, Killzone's 3D features will require glasses and a digital 3D TV, meaning it's not old-school 3D like the Game of the Year Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum that shipped earlier this month.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but we expect more details to emerge at the E3 Gaming Expo next month.
